Eagles Manor (1966) & Golden Eagle Plaza (2000) were established with the goal of providing safe and
comfortable housing for independent senior citizens, disabled individuals, and those in need of assistance.
We work together as one to assist all inquiries in finding housing that meets their needs.
At the Manor and the Plaza, we maintain modest and affordable Retirement apartments, luxurious and

A note from the Administrator:
My journey with Eagles Manor began in July of 1985. During the next seventeen years, I held numerous positions (many at the same time). These positions included Administrative Assistant, Admissions/Exit Coordinator, Activities Director, and Resident Advocate. Golden Eagle Plaza Retirement and Assisted Living opened in 2000 and in 2002, the former Administrator retired and I began a new and exciting position as the Administrator of both communities. During this time, I earned my Assisted Living National Lifetime Administrator Certification through the Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA). I held this position until 2007 when I went to work at the Center for Mental Health before returning to my first love, working with the elderly, in 2010. The duties of Administrator are many as I am responsible for the operations of both communities; a task I could not uphold without the assistance of caring and dedicated staff.
With approximately 170 residents to serve, the employees and I enjoy the richness of personalities, cultures, and needs that come with the elderly population we are committed to assist. Where else can one marvel at the history of so many people? From musicians to mechanics, war veterans (male and female) to railroad workers, schoolteachers to postmasters, farmers, ranchers, writers, dancers, parents, sisters, and brothers; the list goes on. A richness of stories, laughter, and love is in the elderly population and the blessing is mine when I am able to be a part of their lives.
My family has been privileged to enjoy these blessings as well. My daughter and two sons spent many hours throughout their childhood interacting with the residents. Several family members assisted with the operations as well; my daughter, my eldest son, two nieces, and my sister. My experience was valuable in knowing how to interact with my mother when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. Let me share my knowledge, expertise, and compassion with you and your loved ones. Call me at 268-0100 and I will be happy to assist you with this important crossroad in your life.
